The University of Southampton has delivered the highest standards of teaching since 1862. The university is located 60 minutes from London by train on the south coast of England. Not only is it known for the warmest climate in the country but also a vibrant city life, more than 60 green spaces and lots of things to do. The university has five teaching campuses in the city, the main one is situated in Highfield, which is less than 15 minutes from the city centre and in close proximity to beautiful countryside.
The university owns 20 halls of residence featuring 20 different styles. They provide en-suite rooms and rooms with shared facilities in catered and self-catered buildings as well as flats for families and private rented houses. All new international undergraduate students are guaranteed to get accommodation for the first two years of their study. Students can find housing meeting their budget and needs through The Accommodation Service.
International students can count on all around support before and after enrolling. They can use the International Student Support Service, English language programmes, social and welfare networks, as well as the Student Union providing access to lots of clubs and activities.
