Through op-ed pieces, in-depth interviews, reviews, university profiles, general website content and informative reporting on the universities for our audience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and write daily content and articles, ensuring direction is in alignment with the Study Britain brand.

  • Create a tone of voice and develop the identity of Study Britain written content.

  • Oversee the creation of interview questions and coordinate and carry out interviews.

  • Create longer form editorial pieces, and assist in evaluating finalised copy for compliance with copyright, policies, style and tone of voice.

  • Identify and develop writers to create written content and articles for the website.

  • Introduce and execute innovative editorial concepts.

  • Monitor performance of articles and analyse data trends for the development of new features.

  • Use SEO strategies on a daily basis to create editorial and traffic-driving content.

  • Assist in recruitment and training of freelance and staff writers

Requirements

  • Editorial and writing experience, preferably in media or journalism.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Very strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Must be familiar with social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc)

  • A team-player able to work independently and multi-task under tight schedules and deadlines.

  • Creative, independent, detail-oriented with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
